Woods house is a bright example of organic style of architecture. The building is made according golden ratio parameters without any sharp corners. Inspired by natural shapes of Ammonite and gives a feeling of a huge shell haunted by the jungles.
The building includes one bedroom, one underground meditation facility with aquarium window to the pool, one spacious hall, swimming pool with the rest areas and the altar. Altar statue is the link to
Hongshan culture dated back to 4000 BCE, representing a meditating figure of “God of Sun”. The sculpture represents a connection of the house with nature.
The water channel from swimming pool goes around the bedroom and carries the energy purification meaning. Living space has many sculptured flowerbeds made to recreate a greenhouse effect.
Decoration process together with interior design took around 4 months and was conceptualized as a mix of Middle Eastern and Boho elements.
When people first come to the house they get lost due to the spiral direction of the space and absence of recognizable elements in the building. However, after initial visual adjusting this place feels cozier than any other space you have been.
The main message of the creators is to show that the accommodation can be more then square meters of living space, it’s also a cradle of our emotional state and organic architecture is our natural way to invest in it.
